antonia gilroy

Antonia could talk about cheese forever!

Antonia says, "It’s a passion of mine that I constantly think about, learn about and work with, in my everyday life. I love it. To me, cheese is an unassuming staple. I have always loved food and wine that is produced in a particular region and compliments the season. Wine has always told a “love story” dependent on its varietal of grape, region, season, production and age of the vines and so on, and we have always been interested in learning more for about our tastebuds and senses. I realised, cheese, must also tell a “love story”."

Antonia Gilroy has worked at the GPO Cheese & Wine Room, Sydney & The Fourth Village Provedore, Mosman. In 2007 she was awarded Young Cheese Purveyor in the Sydney Morning Herald’s Food Guide.
